Would Fulltime Casual benefit from a specific piece of purchaseable equipment with which to reliably record?   I feel any and all trust in GarageBand is demonstrably misplaced.

eg. I have an Zoom H4 but that only does 2 x phantom power, and yous often need three mics live. Even a 4 track phantom powered mixer +  would instil more confidence in the raw capture.

Serious question.
