Very interesting, Peter and Justin, tho I have to admit
Jeff Straight | March 28, 2008Very interesting, Peter and Justin, tho I have to admit the local TV stuff was beyond me. Loved the Roy Scheider and Jaws stuff, not the best movie ever, but oh so entertaining - set the bar for so many movies - a bar that not even Spielberg can reach most of the time - Maybe Indy 4 will allow him to get back into “fun” stuff every once in awhile.
The Thing - Hawks version - one of my all time, watch it no matter what time it’s on classics - so what if it’s a giant carrot in bad makeup - the dialogue is fabulous and fast and funny - very West Wing in a way - you got spooky music, you got creepy moaning plants, you got lightning bolts - sheesh, what more do you need?
Take care, I’ll be listening from ‘Murica
