Segal is the New Spielberg
Peter Wells | September 28, 2008Twice A Week Might Have Been Optimistic
Peter Wells | September 22, 2008Lucky we recorded two shows last week. Ahem. Anyhoo, this week we bounce through quite a few reviews, From Hellboy 2 to Tropic Thunder, HBO’s Generation Kill and the ABC’s Hollowmen, and general rantiness in between. Look out for the Coens Poll to follow.
For interactive show notes, ask David, Justin, or myself questions on twitter.
Welcome Back
Peter Wells | September 15, 2008Thanks for your patience.
Podcast Apology Number 433
Peter Wells | September 9, 2008Yep, so its been almost a month and still no podcast. It really pains me because some of the funniest things Justin has ever said were about the film Wanted a few weeks back, our take on the HBO series Generation Kill was pretty damn good, and the stuff on Hellboy was great too. But due to my own stupidity, it really is impossible to upload the episodes.
Still, the future is bright. We’ve worked out a way to produce 2 shows a week, 1 purely news, the other our rambling thoughts on all films old and new. We’re recording this Friday with the new addition of the brilliant Fixedr6, and i personally cannot wait.
Thanks again to all the lovely people who’ve emailed, tweeted, or otherwise asked for new episodes. You make the whole thing worthwhile, and i can’t thank you enough. In the words of The Beatles:
You’re such a lovely audience, we’d like to take you home with us, we’d love to take you home.
Where’s the Fucking Podcast?
Peter Wells | August 28, 2008We were going so well… I really do apologise, but 3 weeks ago we recorded a podcast that frankly i thought was quite shithouse, and i couldnt bring myself to publish. Based on that i thought i was time to take a week off and spend some time in the room of mirrors having a good hard look at myself.
Last Sunday we recorded a much better show, but due to technical difficulties (ie - I’m a fucking moron) a large chunk o’ the audio is missing.
So my question, dear listeners, is do i try to edit both crap shows into one decent one or look ahead to this Sunday and finally get it right?

Peter Wells | August 4, 2008Episode 21 is here, lots of hot MIFF Action, plus random news and homework. I’ll write up proper show notes tonight.

None Of This Will Be On The Test
Peter Wells | July 23, 2008Sorry.. after the long rambling mess that was The Dark Knight, we give you a long rambling podcast.. Don’t get me wrong, we all loved The Dark Knight, but it was a flawed masterpiece.
If you can get through our hour long discusion, you’ll be rewarded by some of the funniest, most interesting Homework discussions we’ve had on the show. Hope you dig it.
Pete.
